Friday Loving

I'm loving . . .

Yet another child who thinks she can hide in the fridge . . .

Photobucket

She stands there and drinks the Hershey's Syrup straight from the bottle. And she thinks I don't know she's doing it. But I do. And mostly I'm just jealous.

My Swing . . .

Remember this?

Photobucket

Well, now it looks like this!

Photobucket

Some new canvas, upholstry thread, and swearing, and I've got my swing back. I love everthing about it. I love the color on the fabric, the pattern, the way the pattern is accidentally perfectly centered, the fact that it holds my body weight. I love my swing.

Handknit baby hats . . .

Photobucket

She recently wore this hat at the Grand Canyon. And I got a ridiculous amount of compliments on it. Makes me feel all skilled and stuff.

And finally, I love Bird's art . . .

Photobucket

She says it is a chicken.

Well, it does look like a chicken, sorta, kinda.

Love the hat! I am in a hat making mode, 7 in the last month, now to break it up with 6 pair of clogs.

Nice swing refab!!

And um, does it still count as a "baby" hat? ;-) (i'm in denial too..)

Good job on the swing.
Send that chocolate eater over to my house and I'll teach her to be a full blown chocolate connoisseur. Chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, chocolate sandwiches, cocoa powder on everything.
I've worked in elementary education for many years... what may look like an anatomically correct chicken could easily just be a part of his wardrobe.
